Campus Operations Resume at 5pm Friday

Updated Modification to Campus Operations and Weather Advisory (9/27/2024)UTC Community:

The National Weather Service (NWS) has continued the High Wind Warning until today (September 27, 2024) at 8:00 PM and a Flood Watch until today (Friday, September 27, 2024) at 2:00 PM for the Chattanooga area, as well as Flood Warninguntil Sunday, September 29, 2024 for certain rivers and creeks in Hamilton County, TN and Catoosa County, GA. 

Rain showers and wind around 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25-35 mph, are possible for the remainder of the today and tonight. 

The University community is encouraged to be mindful of personal safety, particularly while outdoors, during this time. Flooding and other safety concerns may persist over the next few days. 

Updated Modification to Campus Operations

Normal campus operations may resume today as of 5:00 PM. However, all facilities previously closed for today will remain CLOSED including: Campus Recreation facilities, including the Aquatic and Recreation Center (ARC)University CenterUTC BookstoreUTC LibraryMocs Dining (Food Services) will continue operating using the following schedule:Crossroads Dining Hall: OPEN until 9:00 PM. Chef Express: OPEN until 10:00 PM.Subway: OPEN until 10:00 PM.South Campus POD: OPEN until 10:00 PM.West Campus POD: OPEN until 12:00 AM.Saturday, September 28, 2024 – Sunday, September 29, 2024
Normal operations resume with facilities operating on their normal schedules.
