Thousands Gather At McKenzie Arena for the President

Developing Story:

A bi-partisan congregation formed around UTC’s campus Sunday in anticipation of President Donald Trump’s visit to Chattanooga.

The ever expanding sea of red hats started as a few hundred in front of McKenzie Arena, and quickly extended around the arena and into the West Campus parking garage. Doors opened at 2 pm, and slowly but surely, supporters of President are filling seats from the bottom up. There is only enough room for roughly 10,000 people, but the Trump-Pence Campaign has large screens set up for all who are unable to enter.

On the other side of the isle, or in this case, the street, protestors gathered to oppose President Trump and his policies gathered in the parking lot adjacent to Blood Assurance. According to protest organizer Kevin Lee, the protest is intended to be peaceful, however Mocs News has received reports of at least one fight breaking out in the Blood Assurance parking lot. This story is still developing.
