Mocs News Reporting the news that matters most to UTC
Chancellor Steve Angle made the announcement about tuition at UTC at the Town Hall meeting this week.
While current students will not have a cost increase, incoming students will. The tuition model for new students will go up eleven percent. Overall, the university is in good shape financially.
Chancellor Angle also announced that UTC’s next academic year will go to a 15-4 model, meaning that full-time students must pay for 15 hours each semester no matter how many hours they are taking.
Some students raised concern about the impact that would have on those who work and go to school.
