Mocs Blue and Gold Showcase Recap

Fans itching for some football were able to get their fix last Saturday during the Mocs Blue and Gold Showcase. The returning players from last year’s team and a few new players transferred in went through a collection of drills in front of several hundred fans.

The spectators were also treated to a 30 minute scrimmage at the end of the three hour practice, where they watched quarterbacks Nick Tiano, Dominic Caldwell, and Cole Copeland battle it out for the starting quarterback position.

“I thought today was a good day. [The showcase] Kind of what we talked about and hoped for,” says coach Tom Arth. “Thoroughly a clean practice… execution aside, there were not a whole lot of mistakes, which was important.”
