Getting around in Chattanooga just got easier, and less inconvenient.
MLK Boulevard has officially reopened between Miller Park and Miller Plaza.
The section of MLK was closed last year so work crews could install infrastructure for the renovation of Miller Park.
Despite progress, the restructuring of MLK continues to move towards east. The two-lane boulevard is transforming into one lane each direction, with a turn in the middle, and a bike lane on each outside edge.
