The Hispanic Outreach and Leadership Association, also known as HOLA, used dance and music to show off a unique part of Hispanic culture. After everyone had eaten their fill of good food, the Latin Dance Exhibition featured a multitude of dances, including bachata, tango, salsa, flamenco, and others.
One of the highlights of the event was the performance of CLILA’S Children Folk Group, who put on a colorful show with their rendition of a Mexican Folkloric dance. Another memorable performance was put on by UTC’s own student Salsa group, G2G.
If you are interested in learning how to dance the bachata style, HOLA is hosting free dance lessons on Halloween in the University Center.
