The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for the Chattanooga / Hamilton County, TN area. On Friday, March 14, 2025, severe storms are possible late night. Winds with gusts up to 70 mph are possible. On Saturday, March 15, 2025, severe storms are predicted, with the greatest threat expected on Saturday night. Significant damaging winds are likely, as well as a threat for tornadoes, hail, and flash flooding.
