NBC picks up new daytime talk show for its fall 2019 schedule, starring the first American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson. Unfortunately this pick up will lead to the cancellation of long time favorite talk show Steve, starring Steve Harvey.
Steve Harvey’s syndicated talk show has been on the air for seven years. It started as Steve Harvey and ran from 2012 to September 5th of 2017. It then came back a week later under the new name of Steve, which will air its last episode before fall of 2019.
Clarkson broke the news of her talk show when she was a guest on September 18ths episode of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. The Kelly Clarkson Show will premiere in fall of 2019, as the lead in to the long running show, Ellen.
No news has been released if Steve will be picked up by another network, but his time with NBC has come to an end.
