Spotlight: Shohei Ohtani

The weather is starting to warm up, and Japanese rookie Shohei Ohtani is setting the baseball diamond on fire.

The much-hyped pitcher has won both of his starts for the Angels of Anaheim, and carried a perfect game into the 7th inning in his second one.

What is garnering widespread attention for Ohtani, however, is his hitting. He already has three home runs and bats as the DH whenever he is not pitching. He won AL Player of the Week in his first week in the majors.
