Ten hours is all it took to render a verdict for the bus driver of the Woodmore bus crash on November 21, 2016 that took the lives of six children.
On Thursday, Johnthony K. Walker was convicted of criminally negligent homicide, reckless driving, endangerment, and using a cell phone behind the wheel.
Walker was also found not guilty on several assault charges that were against him as well.
Walker will now face lesser time in prison than before the trial. However, it is unknown how the jury’s conviction will affect his punishment.
Walker’s sentencing date is April 24 before judge Don Poole in the Hamilton County criminal court.
