They say when officers first got on the scene witnesses reported a large fight and a man brandishing a gun. Police say several people yelled “Gun! He has a gun!” That escalated into panic and people fleeing the mall.
Officers reviewed security tape, verifying the fight and the identity of the suspect who flashed the gun. Investigators say a young man was slightly injured in the panic. He has been treated and released.
